You can find this on the website, all the alumni, prospective recruiters, avg salaries and all about the Career Development Centre is visible snu.edu.in
All students are compulsory residential, so there are living facilities for everyone. The quality of classrooms is world-class, labs and libraries are amazing, and images are available on the website. I mentioned the fee earlier. Food is as good as hostel food. I’d give it a 7/10.
Eligibility criteria - more than 80% marks in 12th grade. Must have English as a subject. SNU conducts its internal entrance examinations called SNUSAT. It has the usual 4 parts of general entrance exams - Logic, arithmetic, Patterns, and English. On top of this, there are also essays to write. Students are not told about the cut-off, but it is fairly difficult as there are only a few seats.
There are a few courses that are compulsory as part of your course and the others students can select on their own as it is a liberal institution. So generally students decide their own timetable but roughly lectures start at 9 am or 10:30 am and end at 5 pm, with many breaks in the middle. Overall quality and experience is amazing.
Fee is very reasonable as compared to other institutions at this level. It is also available on the website I mentioned earlier. Fee is 1 Lakh for hostels, 50K for mess, and 50K for tuition. That’s all. Also, it is compulsory residential. Scholarships are scarce as fees are less. Yes loans are available from the university as well as national banks.
A very large number of clubs and societies are present. You can even start your own and get funding. The main cultural event is a breeze. You can check out its Instagram page at the breeze.snu.
