Companies for Marketing and Finance come in huge numbers and the for Operations and HR. The average salary is 8.5-9 lakhs per annum. The placement records are really good of Nirma, the 95% of the batch gets placed. The highest salary offered is around 18-22 lpa. Nirma's Alumni network is really strong.
The admission criteria are CAT score, personal interview and group discussions. I took CAT, NMAT and SNAP. The cutoff for CAT in Nirma for the MBA full time course is 75 percentile in 2021. The typical cutoffs for CAT are above 80. The campus of Nirma is huge with a lot of greenery with sports facilities and opportunities for extra curriculum.

The procedure for admission was CAT percentile based shortlisting after which there was a theme development and presentation wherein you had to propose your views on a topic presented to you on the spot. The last and final part of the process was a personal interview in which questions based on educational background, interests, hobbies, and current affairs were asked. The institute has CAT based shortlisting criteria and my CAT score was considered for this purpose. The typical CAT cutoff that can be considered to be a minimum shortlisting criteria, would be around 78 percentile for the full time MBA programme.
