Placements and Internships
- I did my internship in the third year of engineering.
- I got an offer letter from a manufacturing company.
- My starting salary is INR 1,44,000 per annum.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- There are two hostels. The hostel fee is INR 7,000 per month.
- The PG rent is around INR 3,000 without food.
- Only one PG is available.
- The college provides good food.
- The classrooms, lab facility, etc., are excellent.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- The admission procedure is quite simple.
- It is based on the cutoff.
- There is no entrance exam for engineering students.
- However, they need above 160 cut off for admission.
Academics and Faculty
- The class timing is from 8.30 to 5.30.
- The teaching faculty is excellent.
Fees and Scholarships
- Sri Shanmugha College of Engineering and Technology, [SSCET] Salem Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 88,000.
- There are government scholarships available. Around 65 students out of 80 got the scholarship.
- The college arranges loans if required.
Clubs and Associations
- The main clubs are JCI, student welfare, etc., and the main festivals are SAE sports day and annual day.
- College life is memorable.
