Deemed university with applicable connectivity through road. You can have a wonderful view from Chandigarh Ludhiana national highway. Moreover, if I talk about campus facilities, they have a sports complex, open-air theatre, and very greenery on the whole campus. Well equipped laboratory with modernized resources and also centralized library along with an individual departmental library is available. Classrooms are spacious, with a lift facility in every academic block along with wifi.

If you rent a house outside campus, it will approximately cost you INR 8000 to INR 10,000 per month.

Chandigarh University has launched CUCET, a common entrance exam for all courses. For PhD gave the same exam, and the level of questions was good. Also, I received 50% scholarships, or you can say fee concession, as I scored 92% in the entrance exams. Cut off is decided as per total candidate appeared and what's the highest score anyone obtained accordingly merit list is made. And eligibility criteria to opt for engineering is a minimum of 50% in 12th from a recognized university.

Timings are flexible enough for everyone; generally, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. And in one academic semester, two sessions are conducted along with three assignments, i.e., 1 per unit, and finals are conducted at the end of every semester. Faculty who are appointed are well qualified. They also have an internal committee that monitored the syllabus and scheme before the beginning of every session to deliver the best content to the students. Also, as a part of practical outcome, students need to make projects which count in their final assessment.

It's my personal experience and observation that if you are a deserving student, then a number of scholarships scheme are provided by Chandigarh University. If your AIR is up to 2500, you can avail 100% scholarship or fee concession.

Recently, a pre-earned credit program was launched in which, after attending one week of course as per the choice of your stream, if you score 95% or above, you can avail 50% of scholarships; likewise, slabs are there as per your marks. But one student can take the benefits of only one scholarship
