College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Chandigarh University has an eco-friendly infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and packed with all the modern facilities. Hostels are also equipped with the gymnasium, sports grounds and gardens. The food is really delicious and of good quality.
The university has also contributed fully equipped Gymnasiums in Girl’s and Boy’s hostels. Besides, there are tennis, badminton and basketball courts, running tracks and sports fields for interested students.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
The eligibility is 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology with at least 50% marks in the aggregate.
Chandigarh university common entrance test (CUCET ) aims to recognise students' potential by providing them with the opportunity to pursue courses of their choice.
Clubs and Associations
The campus of Chandigarh University is far better than you might have expected. Tech Fest, Cultural fest, sports events, tanning and development programs, Tashan nites and placement fests make it unique compared to any other university.
Chandigarh University has designed different bodies which especially take care of the students’ overall development and make sure that students participate voluntarily. There are various clubs to hoard students’ interest like dance club, literary club, music club, drama club, fine arts club and photography club. Students are free to choose among these according to their area of interest.
Other clubs like English and Soft Skills club are designed keeping in mind the universal need to possess good soft skills. There is also a Green Club to spread the message to save the environment and include green club members to promote awareness. Chandigarh University has also designed a Competitive Exam Club, which offers educational services to the students who intend to prepare for civil services exams.
