Library: The institute has a well-stocked library with 15,000 text & reference books and 200 periodicals and journals. Infrastructure: The Institute houses several air-conditioned classrooms and fully equipped labs. These include computer labs, lecture halls, studios, etc. Food: The Institute has a cafeteria where students have access to hygienic and delicious food and snacks.

The admission in all courses is purely on merit, and the candidates are required to take the JET (JIMS Entrance Test) followed by a personal interview. English: Verbal Ability & Verbal Reasoning Maths: Quantitative Ability General Knowledge & Current Affairs The students who have qualified in any of the competitive exams like IP University (CET) and UGAT entrance tests are exempt from appearing in JET. Such rank holders' admission will be based on personal interviews only.
