Placements and Internships
Our placements are very good, and the rate is 80-90%. Our college's top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and many more companies. They are offering very good salary packages. This year, the placements are less compared to previous years due to the pandemic. The median salary package is INR 3.5 LPA.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
From my point of view or rather an experience, I'd say GNIT has an eco-friendly and spacious environment than other colleges. It has 3 playgrounds for cricket, football, and other sports, etc., with a pond. There are basketball and badminton courts to improve our sports skills. Wi-Fi facility is available here with various sports clubs.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
One can apply for a course at Guru Nanak Institute of Technology by securing a rank in JEE, WBJEE, or CEE-AMPAI. Admission then will be held by counselling according to secured rank.
Academics and Faculty
GNIT is an autonomous college. The syllabus is easy and different but a little complex than other colleges. The teachers are very qualified and well versed in their field of study. The teachers are quite helpful, and they will be there for you in any need for both academic and non-academic.

The college campus is amazing. Open space and an eco-friendly environment will soothe your mind—the perfect environment for studying. Our college held various fests throughout the year. The main events are the Cultural fest, Technical fest, digital media fest, intercollege competitions, poster making competitions, sports championships, and more. In case of any emergency, hospitals and nursing homes are near and can be taken care of easily.

Placements & Internships : After the seventh semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Capgemini, Hexaware, Persistent Systems, etc. provide students job offers in multiple profiles. Almost everyone has placed from our batch and the maximum package was around 10 LPA and the minimum was 3.5 LPA. I also got offers from Capgemini and TCS but I wanted to pursue higher studies, so I opted for M.Tech.
