The best thing about PSIT is that if you have more than 65% in all academics, 10th, 12th, B.Tech, you can have guaranteed placement at the end of your graduating year. From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement.

Most of the students start their final year by top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, etc., with salary packages ranging from INR 3.6 to INR 10 LPA. The highest package is INR 26 LPA. Even during the pandemic, PSIT has no stone left unturned. CSE is a highly placed branch. MD ma'am also motivates each of us from time to time so that everyone can perform well and no student leaves hope. There is also a training team that prepares us for aptitude, coding and interview rounds.

Another aspect that attracts students is the college glory. The environment is lush green, and there are quality classrooms with projector, air-conditioned rooms and computer labs in good condition. In addition, there are quality air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms with hygiene washrooms.

PSIT, Kanpur is the fastest growing engineering college in north India. I got admission to PSIT KANPUR through direct admission by giving an entrance test(basically aptitude test of 30 minutes) and interview.

The eligibility is you should have a 60% and above marks in 10th & 12th (minimum 60% in PCM). The admission process is mainly based on counselling. My admission process was smoothly conducted as I also have a good rank in the UPSEE entrance exam.

Basically, I opt for CSE as my branch because of the interest in trending technologies and programming. The curriculum is well designed so that the students are provided with theoretical knowledge along with hands-on training and practical exposure. Personality development classes are started from the first year to groom the ward so well. The college curriculum focused on creating an environment of effective learning and innovating and transforming students into dynamic, responsible, and productive professionals in their respective fields who can adapt to the changing needs of the industry.

Faculties are very interactive and helpful. They are highly skilled and experienced in their respective fields; they always give their best while delivering the lectures so that each student can understand the concepts. Moreover, they are always ready to resolve all our doubts.

Each semester, you have to give 2 class tests, 4 Assignments, and one pre-university exam. These exams are enough to prepare well before university exams. Normally, the size of each classroom is around 60.

Various scholarships are offered to students,

• 90% or Above in PCM (12th Boards) gets INR 30,000
• 85% or Above in PCM (12th Boards) & UPSEE Rank up to 5000 gets INR 25,000
• 80% or Above in PCM (12th Boards) & UPSEE Rank up to 10000 gets INR 20,000

My journey at PSIT has been very exciting. It nurtured my skills to another level and made me capable enough to fulfil my goals. Every year, the cultural fest 'IGNITIA' is organized in which various technical and non-technical events are organized. For example, there is a celebrity night where various singers come and perform. The sports event is also organized where students are encouraged to participate in different sports.

The college is equipped with a central library with a wide range of books. All the classes and laboratories are air-conditioned, equipped with a projector and well furnished, which creates an effective learning environment. In addition, there are various clubs which you can join to enhance your skills and follow your passion.
