Placements and Internships
It is a good college for CS and IT students. Infosys take a lot of students from here.
The average salary of around INR 3 lakh can be achieved easily. However, the maximum package offered was INR 8 lakhs.
Overall placement is satisfactory here. English and technical training classes are taken from the 1st year to prepare the students for internships and placements.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 6 boys hostels and 2 girls hostels. The fee is INR 90,000 for AC rooms and INR 76,000 for non-AC rooms per annum.
The college is situated on the highway, so there are not enough PGs and all the PGs are taken by boys only. The food is satisfactory. The mess is clean. The fees are included in the hostel fee.
The classrooms, labs, and everything is perfect. The main thing which will attract you is the infrastructure. There is a lot of greenery over here. It is well maintained. Hostels are provided with wifi.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
You must complete your schooling for admission to B.Tech, an undergraduate program. They will ask for your 10th and 12th mark sheet. They also asked for JEE scorecard, but it was optional.
I took admission through the AKTU examination. They asked for the AKTU scorecard and rank I achieved in the latter examination.
Cutoffs are not that high here.
Academics and Faculty
If you are looking for a college that pays attention to your studies, this is the college you are looking for. Class timings are from 9 am to 5 pm with one hour break between and 10 minutes of break after every two classes.
The faculty is friendly and is always available whenever needed. They are highly educated and works hard for the future of the students. The assignments, tests, and exams are held every month.
Fees and Scholarships
Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology, [PSIT] Kanpur Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 1.70 Lakh per annum.
Scholarships are also provided to eligible students. Loans are provided easily over here. SBI has some tie-up here.
Clubs and Associations
There are various clubs like Dance, Eco, Literary, etc. There are sports facilities provided to the students.
Ignitia is the annual fest organized for the students, and around 3 sports fest held every year.
College life is satisfactory. The environment is very friendly.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for taking admission in Computer Science And Engineering is to get at least 70% in 12th if you are coming directly for admission, and if you are coming through aktu or jee ranking then it depends on the ranking under which this college and that specific branch fall. In my case, I have given AKTU exam and got around 28000 ranks so I have got this CSE branch here. In my time approx cutoff for cse starts from 30k.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For taking Admission in College, We have to complete 10+2.We have to give UPSEE exam and have to score 250+ marks in this exam to take admission.There is also seats for those students who didn't give UPSEE exam.We have to give PI and Aptitude Test to get admission.

Placements & Internships : The college placements are up to the mark. Companies like Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, and many others come to our college every year and leave satisfied. The compulsory attendance is more than 90% which I think should be amended. Otherwise, PSIT is a good choice for engineers.
