Emerging and flourishing in the past few years, it has been ranked as a leading private college in KANPUR, UTTAR PRADESH for various professional courses such as BTech, MTech, BBA, MBA, B.Pharma etc. Top companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS etc regularly visit the campus and do offer handsome packages for the students. With average packages ranging from 4.5-5.5 LPA .

INFRASTRUCTURE
PSIT has got one of the best campuses , the lanes are well decorated and peaceful with beautiful trees and fragrant flowers . Hostel students are even more benefited as they get more time to relax in the lap of nature, also they enjoy more sports and cultural events that are held regularly.The campus is fully wi-Fi and the lecture halls are well equipped with ACs and projectors. Also the hostellers are taken for a stroll around Kanpur city so as to be able to enjoy their weekends.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Admissions in PSIT Kanpur are granted either on the basis of a valid rank card in Uttarpradesh State Entrance Examination (till 2020) or based on your intermediate score followed by a decent personal interview session from the following year admissions are to be granted based on the rank card of JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (JEE).

The faculty here is a really hardworking one, professors are all highly qualified and are masters in their subjects .They give their to ensure and provide quality education to their students,by focussing on individual basis on every student.They try their level best to make the students easily help understand all the concepts through various modes that may include a video depicting the details ,powerpoint presentations etc.
CURRICULUM
Regular assignments and class tests help students analyse their understanding of the depth of concepts and their applications.Scoring well in these tests is very important .

It has different clubs like science ,sports,music,literature, hindi etc... offering a vast number of opportunities to students in order to showcase their talents and skills. Various workshops are organised for the students to help them get the latest knowledge about the rapidly flourishing industry.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria for taking admission in Computer Science And Engineering is to get at least 70% in 12th if you are coming directly for admission, and if you are coming through aktu or jee ranking then it depends on the ranking under which this college and that specific branch fall. In my case, I have given AKTU exam and got around 28000 ranks so I have got this CSE branch here. In my time approx cutoff for cse starts from 30k.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For taking Admission in College, We have to complete 10+2.We have to give UPSEE exam and have to score 250+ marks in this exam to take admission.There is also seats for those students who didn't give UPSEE exam.We have to give PI and Aptitude Test to get admission.

Placements & Internships : The college placements are up to the mark. Companies like Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, and many others come to our college every year and leave satisfied. The compulsory attendance is more than 90% which I think should be amended. Otherwise, PSIT is a good choice for engineers.
