I did MBA from Lovely Professional University. Honestly, my experience at LPU was amazing, Pursue MBA from one of the best MBA colleges in Punjab and India that focuses on honing the instinctive talent and practical innovation of the students. Our program relies on industry- aesthetics and essential business skills to craft well-informed decision-makers who can cope up in the challenging world-of-work. The Business School of LPU is accredited from (ACBSP) Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA, ensuring quality education and industry experienced faculties. Studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA.LPU has recently Marked among Top 50 Best Management Institutes by NIRF ranking 2020. Also, LPU has won National Employability Award 2020.

As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enrol in.

I think you should not worry about placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to participate in events, competitions, and fests to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills.

There are plenty of career opportunities after MBA in different sectors of industries like Banking and Finance, Investment Banking, multinationals, foreign banks, and public sector undertakings, affecting the whole corporate sector – offering bright opportunities to management graduates. The careers in management offer one of the best remuneration packages and perks everywhere. Many students are placed in reputed companies in different cities, and some are set in abroad too. More than 150 companies including ITC, Asian Paints, HDFC, Federal Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global etc. and so on recruiting MBA students every year with the highest package in MBA at 21 Lakh Per Annum and on an average package will be 4LPA TO 6 LPA with nearly 90 % placement rates. LPU keeps improving and increasing it placements packages year on year. Even the number of recruiters visiting the campus increase every year.

They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements. After all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one.

The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. Some students cracked the placement and got offered 21 LPA, while many failed to do so.

On an average, the MBA students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 4.5 TO 6 LPA(Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that.

Lovely Professional University is close to my heart. Ive spend some of the very memorable days of my college life here and looking forward to so much more. I have tried summing up my experience so far, below:
The infrastructure at Lovely Professional University is one of the best in India. A 600+ acre campus widely spread with almost every facility available in the campus. Starting from Wi-Fi services, they aim to provide internet connectivity to everyone on the campus. The attractive thing about this university is the UMS or University Management Services, an online portal for both the faculty members and students wherein the students can check their attendance, marks or address their problems, while the faculty members can take attendance, upload study material and there are host lot of services given by UMS.
The labs are well-equipped with the latest systems in place installed with up-to-date software, guided and monitored by the IT cell. The Central Library is equipped with ample books for the running courses as well as for extra studies. Uni Hospital caters the medical needs of the university people with inbuilt pathological labs and physiotherapy services. A humongous ground located near the hostels ensures that each and everyone gets to access the sports and games which they want to play. The cricket, football and hockey fields can be cited along with the volleyball, basketball, tennis courts etc. The Division of Student Affairs ensures the cultural environment is maintained here.
Students from different cultures and different countries offer a good learning bed to learn and develop a more inclusive mindset. This mindset helps in being more accommodating and less judgmental in personal and professional life.
LPU's campus is one of India's largest lush green campuses, spread over 900+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available.

The eligibility for MBA at LPU is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or CAT or XAT or MAT or CMAT or NMAT and Interview. or Completed Company Secretary (CS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).
 

Lovely Professional University is quite eminent for the MBA. You can do MBA in different streams like financial markets, International Business, Tourism and hospitality, Banking and insurance, E-Commerce, Fintect, Business Analytics, etc. So you can choose any of the above-revealed streams according to your area of interest.

Faculty in our department is well-experienced and have expert knowledge who work on our skill enhancement. There are lots of career opportunities after MBA in different areas. The university also gives us the opportunity to get real-life exposure through various training programs and an internship, which is mandatory for all. Professors go for value-based education which is something we as professionals would require in our career. Our department arranges guest lectures by experts and some really successful people to widen our scope of learning.

Most of the faculty members are from IIM or from elite B- Schools (India/Abroad. They have a decade of experience. Faculty was really helping. Even they helped her after regular university hours for her projects.

Entrepreneurship projects are an integral part of the curriculum and help establish themselves as successful entrepreneurs. I got the opportunity to work on a community development project on social issues to cultivate social sensitivity and sense of responsibility.

University has collaboration/Tie up with the companies like NSE, Safe Educate, ICICI Direct, HDFC, etc. to give students the opportunity for pursuing live projects and/or professional certifications like NCCMP, NCFM etc.

The placements are exemplary. I’m a pass-out myself, and I’m placed in a decent company, while some of my friends are placed abroad, too. Industrial exposure is offered through in-house training programs. The university organizes many external workshops for us. The package provided by on-campus jobs is also satisfactory. University’s environment is pretty decent with high-tech security. They also organize regular interactive one-on-one sessions with experts where we can discuss our views and share our doubts and problems.

At LPU, students get the opportunity to start their organizations or clubs to bring together students who share the same interests. These organizations are independent of the University Administration. Besides this, students can also become promoters of various organizations until their request for initiating a new organization is approved.

Students can join various student organizations running in the university or establish a new student organization, which is possible after following a few guidelines. The complete procedure for initiating a student organization can be found on UMS under the link 'Manual for Student Organization'. You can also contact the Division of Student Welfare Department, also known as DSW in block 13 that takes care of all these things.

Such clubs make you creative, open to new ideas, improve your communication, escape from the monotonicity of classes, help you make new friends, and have fun in general. Which at later stages in life play a pivotal role in tackling day to day issues.
