I haven't done any internship till now because I am still in my second year. The campus placements are good at IIAD and a decent package is offered to students. Companies like Square Board, Netflix, Pero, among many others come for campus placements.
IIAD has one of the best infrastructures. From studios, labs, classrooms, cafeteria to library, everything is top-notch. The college is located in a central location and hence it's easy to access the local markets, metro and even PG facilities for outstation students.
The eligibility criteria for BA (H) Interior Architecture and Design was to pass 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Students currently in their 10+2 were also eligible to apply. The admission procedure for my course involved filling up the application form and entrance exams which happened in two parts. First, iDAT and the second part was studio simulation. There is no cutoff system at IIAD, students that are selected receive an offer letter on their registered email ID.
The schedule is hectic at IIAD, everything happens as per the planned timetable, from classes and assignment submissions to exams. IIAD follows studio-based learning and hence mostly everything is practically based. Overall, I am enjoying and learning a lot at IIAD.
The Indian Institute of Art and Design, [IIAD] New Delhi fee structure, the fee for my course is INR 468397/year. Yes, scholarships are provided to some of the students on merit basis.
We have different clubs in college. Some of the clubs are dramatics, dance, music, filmmaking & photography among many others. We also have several annual events like ‘Remix’. Overall IIAD is a great place to be and develop yourself holistically.
