Placements and Internships

4.5

I haven't done any internship till now, since I am a foundation year student right now. Some of the companies that come for campus placements are Ogilvy & Mather, Aditya Birla, Biba, Netflix, Fab India, and Zee TV among many others. Around 90% of the students got placed in the previous year with a decent package.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

5

IIAD offers great infrastructure. Students are provided with every essential thing required for their learning, from course-specific labs, design studios, library, to cafeteria, separate hostels for boys and girls, etc. The campus is located in a location where it's very easy for a student to get anything.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

BA(Hons) Fashion Business Management's eligibility criteria are to pass 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from CBSE/ISC/IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board.

The candidates who were awaiting their 10+2 results were also eligible to apply. The admission procedure was simple; students had the option to apply either online or offline. The application fees I paid was Rs.2000.

The entrance exam was conducted in two parts. The first part was iMAT, and the second part was the personal interview.

Academics and Faculty

5

The course curriculum is holistic, and by the end of the fourth year, the student becomes industry-ready. Even during the pandemic, everything happened as per the schedule; the classes were regularly taken, assignments were timely accessed, etc. The Institute also provides the students with facilities like Linkedin Learning, among many others.

Overall, I have a great learning experience at IIAD.

Fees and Scholarships

5

Indian Institute of Art and Design, [IIAD] New Delhi Fee Structure. The course fee is about INR 4.50 Lakh per annum.

Students can apply for a scholarship once they have received an offer letter from IIAD. If a student wants to apply for a loan, IIAD provides loan assistance to them as the institute has partnered with AVANSE and CREDENC.

Clubs and Associations

5

IIAD college life is really fun with a lot of experience. We have several clubs such as dramatics, dance, music, filmmaking & photography, poetry, Graffiti, and fashion. We also have annual events such as Remix and Convocation Day.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admission in IIAD is through entrance examination. For my course, the entrance test was divided into two parts. The first part was an iDAT, and the second part was studio simulation. These tests were designed to check the design ability of the students. There is no cutoff system at IIAD, students who are selected receive an offer letter.
