College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- VIT boasts of its well-planned and comprehensive infrastructure provided for both- students and faculty.
- It is totally a ‘Kingdom of Dreams’ for a person like me, who instances of disruptive psychology, can easily manage to overcome that by just walking around the lush green campus.
Academics and Faculty
- A 360-acre eco-friendly campus with over 50.83 lakh sqm. built-up space at Vellore.
- A 170-acre eco-friendly second campus at Chennai. Over 24,000 students, with nearly 1/3rd of them women.Faculty and academics is good over here.
- They are supportive and the quality of education definitely has a standard here.
- The college just went for ABET accreditation and is still undergoing the whole accreditation process.
- Hopefully, the college will get accredited as it will be a benefit for students who aspire to go abroad for further studies.
- Further, our faculties drive us to put up projects every semester in every subject that we take up.
- So it is a learning experience when you put efforts towards your projects.
Fees and Scholarships
- The students are awarded scholarships on basis of academics, the family financial background of the family and extra-circular activities.Scholarship thing in VIT University is purely based on your VITEEE rank.
- The fees here is 1.75 lakhs for education and 1.28 lakhs for A.C accommodation with mess food. Study loans will be available with other financial aids

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria is 10+2 and admissions will be considered based on vit(vit entrance test). I wrote that exam and got into VIT. You should get a rank around 30k to get a good seat

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria to join is, you must secure a minimum of 40% average marks (PCM) in your 12th Std Exams. There is only one way to get into VIT which is the VITEEE entrance exam Which has the portions of 12th PU boards on a JEE mains level For mechanical (core) you need the rank of about 4000.
Academics & Faculty : The teachers here are good and some may be amazing , huge campus and lot is going on. Language may be an issue and hostels are a bit strict but other than that you will have an amazing experince. The FFCS (online portal) allows us to customize our time table and even select our teachers. Infrastructure ia amazing.
Academics & Faculty : It is quite good as we are very busy throughout the semester. The quality of education is good. Many of the projects are given which help us in studies.
