Entrance Exams & Admissions : I completed my BTech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vels Institute of Science and Technology in 2019 June. At the time of my joining (2015), I was required to write an entrance test which was based on the High school syllabus of Maths and Science subjects. The university typically shortlists anyone who secures a minimum of 45 percent in the test. Students who are not shortlisted are also given admissions, however, the fee structure will vary accordingly to the score he/she has scored in the test.
