Limited opportunities for placement after the diploma. Only a few startups will approach with a budget stipend. The probability of getting hired is more in streams like Civil & Mechanical than Software Engineering. A handful of students were selected after the interview and group discussion.

Subharti University is situated on the outskirts of Meerut, and has a society of its own called Subhartipuram. Geographically, it is a massive university covering 250 acres of land with courses in Medical, Dental, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Paramedical, Pharmacy, Naturopathy, Yogic Sciences, Engineering, Management, Law, Journalism, Education, Library, Arts and Science, Hotel Management, Faculty of Science etc.

During the proceedings of admission, an option of accommodation in University hostel is provided with fees ranging from 55k p/a for sharing between 3 students to 80k p/a for a single student room. Air conditioning and personal bathroom is also available but at a higher annual fee bracket. Mess fee is included in the annual accommodation with food ranging from a variety of North-Eastern Dishes. Libraries and labs are available for the students completely free of cost.

The cutoff for the eligibility of a Diploma is 70% in your Secondary Examination regardless of the subject you're choosing to do a Diploma in. There are no specific entrance examinations for Diploma in Software Engineering. Documents such as school leaving certificate, original mark sheet with passing certificate, and character certificate are required during admission. If you have all the required documents and are eligible for a diploma, the admission procedure takes no time.

The methodology of teaching is quite average but the teachers are honest and sincere. Subjects will be changed every year with weekly tests to for assessment. Out of the 3 sessional examinations, you can opt for 2 but an average of 50% or more is required for passing in a year. Subharti University is a hub of students from different courses and regular debates are organized for student exposure.
