As SOL, DU provides a Distance mode of education. So basically, one has to completely depend on self-study, and it's solely upon the student whether he/she wants to do an internship or not. Now, About placement so, I would say yes, SOL does provide placement facility, with some good companies and financial institutions, but companies vary every year. Also, SOL has its own placement cell where you can enquire if any vacancy is available or not.
There is no hostel facility provided by SOL, DU, and the quality of classroom and labs libraries are much better as we get the same college which regular students get.
As SOL, DU provides the distance mode of education, so classes mostly take place on weekends, i.e., Saturday & Sunday. Students usually get their schedule via SMS, so no need to worry about the class timing.
The overall experience was average.
There is a very minimal amount of which SOL charges at the time of admission, which varies between INR 2,000 to INR 4,000.
SOL has its own Entrepreneur Cell, where students can enroll themselves and get to learn various skills for Initiating Startup and various schemes provided by govt to help startups.
