I have done 4 internships in mother dairy, Dukes, perffetti van melle and haldiram. Not many technical companies come to our college for placement. Placement is 99% off campus especially in food tech, but teachers have a good alumni network which helps students in securing jobs with an average salary of 2 lakh per annum.
There are 4-5 hostels each for girls and boys. Many PGs are available ranging from 5k to 7k per month. Food quality is very awesome and the cost is very reasonable. Wifi, library, and labs are really good
The eligiblity criteria is AIEEE score, and there is also a university entrance test that has to be given at the time of admission. Based on either your AIEEE rank Or university entrance exam score you will be granted admission. I was a PCB student and PCB students can take admission in BTECH food tech and BTECH biotech.
Teaching is very good there. Assignments, projects, industrial visits and internships are also included as a compulsory part of academics which enable the students to develop qualities required to work as industry professionalists.
Rs. 95000/- is the course fee per year at Jaipur National University, [JNU] Jaipur. Scholarship is given to the branch topper each year and also at the time of admission to the student having above 80% in class 12th. Loans are easily available, especially from PNB bank.
There are many societies including writers societies, sports clubs etc. Technorazz is the main festival of JNU. They also held sports each year. Life is really good in college. I really learned a lot and enjoyed my 4 years at college.
