Student societies, clubs are the heart of the college. There are the lot of student societies like Techno, SRA, AERO, Pratinidhi, etc. The main festival on campus is technovanza which takes place in the month of December.

Admissions are based on MHT CET score. Since it is one of the top colleges in Mumbai for engineering cutoff is a bit high.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY: There's hardly any good faculty left. Only a select few are good. Some courses are even taught by M.Tech students studying in VJTI.  Exams are pretty good. A preparatory leave before exams gives you time to cover up the syllabus.
FOREIGN EXCHANGE & INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE: As far as I know, there's currently no foreign exchange program in VJTI. This should be included by the college!!!!!!!!!
FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP: Reserved class students get a good amount of scholarship/freeship. Merit students with CGPA over 7 or 7.5 can apply to different scholarships and get amounts around Rs.8000 a semester

ACADEMICS & FACULTY: Quality and methodology of teaching was poor. Tests and Assignments were given at the end of the semester. Professors were accessible outside class.
FOREIGN EXCHANGE & INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE: Foreign exchange program was not available. Language used for teaching was English. Hindi, Marathi and English were spoken by students on compus.
FEES AND SCHOLARSHIP: College Fee was less compared to other engineering colleges since it is government aided. Scholarship option was available.
PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK: Job opportunities are very good. Size and effectiveness of Alumni network is good. Companies like Google, Rakuten come to campu...
