ACADEMICS & FACULTY: A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Oriental Institute of Science & Technology in its various departments.All the departments have highly experienced faculty who are helpful inside and outside the class, one can approach a faculty with a doubt at any time and his doubt would be solved.
FOREIGN EXCHANGE & INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE: No tie-ups with any university outside India there is no interaction with any faculty from outside India, no guest lectures or anything of that sort.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • The class timings are pretty long,the college starts at 10am in the morning till 4:30pm in the evening for the first year. For senior semesters the classes start from 9am to 3:40 pm. For the first year students the college adhere to strict attendance policy.For better sessional marks attendance proves to be a key factor.since OIST comes under RGPV university the exams are conducted by RGPV.
  • Regular unit tests are taken but since the marks are not added in sessional marks they are not taken seriously.Mid terms are also conducted but the worst part...

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • College timings are 9:00 AM to5 PM.
  • Exams are as usually are after every 5-6 months of new semester.
  • Assignments are given according to daily basis of work done in the college.
  • Quality of education is good and teachers are very supportive and helpful. 
  • Assignments are given once or twice in a week. Not much pressure is given to students.
  • The overall experience is good. There is a lot of scope for personality development.
