  • NITs are known for their highly qualified faculty members. The faculty at National Institute of Technology is highly qualified. Almost every faculty is either P.H.D (almost everyone had done it from IITs and even some had done it from abroad) or pursuing P.H.D.

  • The academics of National Institute of Technology is quite impressive. But there are no regular classes.
  • There is continuous evaluation of the students through assignments, sessionals(2 per semester) and major examination(1 per semester).
  • The professors are highly qualified and their method of teaching is really good.
  • However the teaching methodology of the contractual is not so good, there is a need for more experienced, qualified and permanent teaching faculty.

  • In NIT SRINAGAR classes start from 8:45 am in morning and go on till 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sundays are off.
  • The classes sometimes get disturbed due to political or climatic conditions.
  • The professors are really helpful and almost all of them are PhD or are pursuing PhD. One can freely go and ask doubts to professors.
  • International exposure of NIT SRINAGAR is fantastic but there are certain areas of development where it needs to focus.&...
