Usual class timing is 08:00 AM -01:00 PM. I have done projects in 4 semesters. Multiple projects. Assignments were given on a regular basis. For Industrial Design Engineering branch, there was not much technical or useful content in the curriculum. Insufficient no.of professors for Industrial Design Engineering branch. Overall experience was good.

I did my internship in SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant for 2 months. There was no stipend for this internship. IT giants usually recruited people from Computer science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical branches. And automobile companies recruited from mechanical engineering only. For mining, metallurgy and civil engineering branch several good companies were there. And for the rest mass recruiters. No idea about average salary. Highest was 15lpa. Almost 100% placement. Good connection with alumni.
