  • Within a week, Classes are from monday to friday and about daily routine, it is from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm and then 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm . But there might not be some classes in this given period depending upon the arrangement of classes by respective department. For exam there is a mid term exam in between the semester then after final exam which will held at the end of semester according to academy calendar of NIT DURGAPUR. Semester exam carry 70 marks and mid term exam carry 20 mark and there will be 10 marks for attendance. There will be 75% attendance compulsory to appear in the final semester exam. Assignments are given during the lecture which also carry some marks depending upon the Professors ,arks includes within the internal in 10 marks.
  • Quality of teaching medium not so good here. Most of the people go to class just for attendance ,one can prepare the semester exam by himself/herself. Method of teaching is also not impressive. Some faculty mostly 1 or 2 can impress by their teaching whereas all are just doing their job.
  •  If i talk about Overall experience then it is good. Here you learn better thing by yourself or seniors. Doing B.Tech programme is the best thing because for that you have go through all curriculum that is the biggest achievement in my opinion.

  • There are relevant courses provided but sometimes choices are not available.
  • Mostly through slides, thus no need of bulky handwritten notes and for some people not particularly necessary to attend classes just for writing notes or running for xerox at the end sem.
