The classes start at 8:00 am in the morning. Guest lectures are held every week along with yoga every week once a day which is mandatory. Projects and assignments hold a great position for marks and it is a CGPA system. The faculty is highly experienced and they know every single detail about their subjects and are innovative.

BBA course which is for 3 years every year fee is INR 1,75,000 as this year MIT-PUNE became MIT-WPU autonomous university. Scholarship options are poorly available but financial aid can be given to deprived section on personal request. Also, work and pay system are soon going to be launched in the university by working part-time in the university itself. Loans are easily available and MIT-WPU has a tie-up with Axis bank.

 

Placements & Alumni Network

An internship will be provided to the student of the third year by the college itself. Mostly students from specialization of Finance, Marketing and HR in BBA are recruited. Highest salary package for UG was INR 3,20,000 per annum and mostly 75-80% of batch gets placed. The alumni network of MIT-PUNE is extremely reputed.

There are many events mainly Bhartiya Chhatra Sansad ( Indian Students Parliament), National Teacher's Congress, Enthusia, etc. Life in college is hectic and they teach you to deal with pressure and stress and it gives you the feel of true adult life.

The eligibility criteria for getting into BBA is to give an online test on the venue along with the walk-in interview. The marks scored have different cut-off marks based on the caste. To give this test, you need to register and pay the number of fees. Entrance examination was set up by the university itself it is like the SET TEST. For OBC it is above 80-85 out of 100 For SC/ST it is above 70-75 out of 100 For OPEN it is above 90-95 out of 100.

  • The time table of my mechanical engineering department was well planned. It was never a hectic full tight back to back lectures schedule.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • Academics is good at Maharashtra Institute of Technology but the faculty is not so good. Most of them are under-qualified to be a teacher at high school. My department did not have even a single professor who had Industrial experience.
PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:
  • The placement department in Maharashtra Institute of Technology is very active and has long-term contracts with some good companies but due to bad faculty, most of the students are not eligible for the placements. Those who are eligible do get placed.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • The faculty is really good. There are learned senior professors, especially, in the mechanical department which is said to be the BEST in Pune after COEP or maybe even equally good.
  • The other departments have excellent professors as well.
PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:
  • The usual suspects (Infosys, TCS) grab students in numbers, but MIT also has Microsoft and Deloitte picking up a few students.
  • Global leader Shell recruits Petroleum students in bulk too.
