College hours start at 8:45 am to 4.00 pm. Classes are conducted under two shifts. The teaching staff is very good. My experience is above average.

My course fee is INR 1.5 lakh per year. Many scholarship options are available. 400 to 500 student gets the scholarship. Loans are given as per the requirements from the Bank of India

Companies like Mercedes and Volkswagen conduct campus recruitment. Having a good placements record. Alumni network is the best here. Average package figures are INR 5 lakh per annum.

  • The time table of my mechanical engineering department was well planned. It was never a hectic full tight back to back lectures schedule.

  • Academics is good at Maharashtra Institute of Technology but the faculty is not so good. Most of them are under-qualified to be a teacher at high school. My department did not have even a single professor who had Industrial experience.
  • The placement department in Maharashtra Institute of Technology is very active and has long-term contracts with some good companies but due to bad faculty, most of the students are not eligible for the placements. Those who are eligible do get placed.

Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Agricultural Engineering), batch of 2017 8/10
  • The faculty is really good. There are learned senior professors, especially, in the mechanical department which is said to be the BEST in Pune after COEP or maybe even equally good.
  • The other departments have excellent professors as well.
  • The usual suspects (Infosys, TCS) grab students in numbers, but MIT also has Microsoft and Deloitte picking up a few students.
  • Global leader Shell recruits Petroleum students in bulk too.
  • MIT offers nearly 100%...
