  • Five hours of college, every day with two shifts isn't hard for a student.
  • The quality of teaching is different in both the shifts.
  • Professor accessibility outside class is good as they have their own forums for the classrooms outside where they regularly respond to student queries.

  • There is a lot of scope for internships through Loyola College.
  • With top firms like Goldman Sachs hiring third years for an apprenticeship leading to a job as analysts, it gives a lot of exposure to undergrad pass out.
  • Also, over the years, companies like Zomato, D.E Shaw, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, and many other top companies have been offering students with really good packages.

  • It engages the students in extracurricular activities.

  • Most courses in the college are not co-ed. Alcohol and dorm parties are strictly prohibited.
  • Despite that, there is a buzz and a good atmosphere in the college and the vibe around is really good.
  • Situated in the centre of the city in Nungambakkam, Loyola is one of the top colleges for Commerce in India.

  • A few professors provide us practical exposure. Options aplenty for Elective subjects.
  • They mostly prefer classroom teaching.
  • The subjects and the chapters covered are more relevant for the course.
  • But may not provide us with Specialisation.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • The faculty is impressive; at least they have made an impression on the students.
  • The faculty is not too friendly, nor too strict. They get along well with the students.
  • The students are even taken for an industrial visit during their course, although it is just a day visit.
PLACEMENTS & ALUMNI NETWORK:
  • Only IT companies visit the campus.
  • Most of the core branch students have to find their placements off campus.
  • No help is provided by the college.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • While the academic schedule is rigorous, there is scope for one to excel at academics, provided the warranted work ethic exists.
