ACADEMICS & FACULTY: Academic schedule is not very rigourous. Tests are regular. How much you learn depends on your interest. Courses are quite relevant and include thermal engineering, heat transfer, power plant engineering, machine design, CAD/CAM etc. among core courses while C, OOPS through Java, DBMS are taught additionally. Quality of teaching is good, if professors take the classes. However, a few courses are taught by assistants due to paucity of faculty. Professors are very approachable and available if they are not part of the university adminstration.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY: Academics not very rigourous. Regular classes and tests. Relevant core courses as well as additional courses such as C, Java, DBMS Professors are good, but a few courses are taught by assistants, who arent as good. Professors are approachable and accessible.
FOREIGN EXCHANGE & INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE: English is the language of teaching and English, Telugu are spoken on campus. There are MoUs with certain foreign universities and students from neighbouring countries also enrol in the bachelors or MBA programs

  • JNTUHCEJ has its own schedule . Everyone should come by 10: 00 am to the college and attend classes and in case you did not attend the classes you will be marked down in your attendence record . Again FYI some times it depends on the professor . When people ask me about assignments in the college its a pretty good work that which you get, i mean you need to fill loads of papers. There is no choice of selecting the papers in terms of Optional subjects. What professor has dicided you need to follow that .
