Per year the fees for my course is about INR 2,50,000. The scholarship is provided to the students who are the rank holders of their respective branch. From the whole Institute about 30-35 students and from my branch about 3-5 students. Yes, loans are greatly needed as the fees is very high. Any student can get it from SBI named under as scholar loan.

IT giants like Google, Facebook, Oracle, Microsoft etc. are the companies in which our Institute students get placed. Taking about manufacturing companies like Tata Steel, SAIL, GAIL, HAL, etc. Average salary figure of my branch is about INR 7,78,000  and the highest salary is about INR 14,00,000. Almost 90% of the students from metallurgical branch get placed. Great alumni network, for example, Nikesh Arora.

Infrastructure & Transportation
Know more
7 /10

There are total 13 hostels in IIT Varanasi in which 11 are for boys and 2 are for girls. Hostel fee is nominal about INR 24,000 including mess charge. Not allowed. Among all IIT's in India, IIT Varanasi is considered the best in terms of food. Under the mess charge about INR 24000 per year. Not so good as it is the oldest university of India which became an IIT in 2012 infrastructure is just satisfactory or less.

Clubs & Associations
Know more
9 /10

There are many clubs in IIT Varanasi like Science and Technology Council, Film and Media Council, Cultural Council, Social Services Council which are further subdivided into 5-8 clubs. There are many fests held every year like Spardha- India's largest sports festival, Kashiyatra-cultural fest, Technex Science and Tech. Fest. It is amazing where you just have to grab every single opportunity you get to be great.
