IIT Delhi is considered to have the most rigorous academic schedule in the country even other IITs don't have such hectic schedule. A lots of lab, projects and assignments are provided time to time. Professors are the best.

The tuition fee is INR 3 lakhs per annum including accommodation. If your family income is below 5 lakhs, students are provided concession in their tuition fee and they have to pay INR 40,000 per annum whereas others have to pay INR 107,000 per annum. Yes, loans are available with zero interest.

IT sector definitely dominates through whole placement season and other majority sectors which offers placement are TRADING and CORE sectors. The average salary for trading goes around INR 30 lakhs per annum whereas core it goes around INR 12 to 15 lakhs per annum.

There is total of 14 hostels which includes 12 for boys and remaining two for girls. Hostel fee is quite reasonable and everyone can afford it easily. Rooms in hostels are definitely good and the most important thing is that quality of foods provided in the hostel is fairly enough. It costs around INR 22,000 per semester. Lecture halls are of world-class quality with state of art interiors.

There are various clubs technical as well as the cultural club. Technical clubs include aeromodelling club, formula racing club, robotics club, coding club, biotech club. A technical festival - TRYST is organized every year in February which witnesses a lot of famous technocrats and entrepreneurs. Cultural clubs include dance club, dramatics club, music club, art club. A cultural fest popularly known as RENDEZVOUS is the largest cultural festival in north India.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY: The academics at IIT Delhi are excellent to say the least. The sole problem of engineering education in India is the lack of properly equipped labs, which results in the lack of practical knowledge and abundance of theoretical knowledge.
