  • The daily routine is followed strictly by the teachers which inspires the students to do the same. Teachers organize quizzes and seminars frequently. Also assignments are given after a particular topic is taught in the class. The examination criteria is a bit tough, and the papers at evaluated strictly.
  • Quality of the education is class as it is the central Technological University of the state.
  • The overall college experience is good.

Fees & Scholarship
Know more
8 /10

  • As the institution is government funded, the fees are not too high as compared to other institutions. The fees for my course is Rs 53000 per annum.
  • But majority of the students get scholarships and freeships.
  • 7 out of 10 students get scholarships.
  • Loans are generally not needed because of low fees, if required the institution helps in getting the loans.

Placements & Alumni Network

  • The department helps in finding internships opportunities to the students. I have done an internship in the previous summer vacation. The company also provided stipend.
  • And looking at the employment opportunities in the industrial sector there is a good number of placements on the campus.
  • The average salary offered is Rs 30-45k per month.
  • We have a good alumni network, but it entirely depends in us how to make a good use of the alumni network for our upliftment.

Infrastructure & Transportation
Know more
8 /10

  • There is hostel accommodation for almost all the students. The hostel fee is very low, about Rs 7k per year.
  • Those who love some extra freedom can also opt as PG outside the campus. The cost of accommodation as PG is affordable.
  • The quality of food is good. We can say so-so.
  • There are WiFi hotspotsp place to place on the campus. The library is well equipped and one of the largest library in the state. The infrastructure of the university is awesome, as it has won the award for the best infrastructure for the year 2010.

  • DBATU being a state university, employs a satisfactory number of permenant teachers; most of them hold doctorate.
  • The syllabus is well structured and delivered nicely.
  • The disadvantage (or should I say advantage!) is that one gets good grades quite easily.
  • And practical sessions are not upto the mark.
  • The academic fees is around Rs. 60,000 per year.
  • The hostel fees is Rs. 6,300 per year, food charges are extra extra...

For admission in this college, you need to take Mah-CET. I got 105 marks in Mah-CET 2013. The lowest scorer who got admitted in ExTC in this college got 84 marks in Mah-CET.

During our placement, there were not many companies there. But there were some companies like Persistent, Sudarshan electrical, etc.

At our time fees was around ₹ 25,000 for one year. Hostel fees with mess charges were around ₹ 20,000 per year. Scholarship option is available for reserved category students. That is government scholarship.
