  • The university has set pretty high standards for attendance. Not just setting the rules for attendance, but also making sure that their rules are properly implemented. Also the university has been trying to align itself with the industry requirements. This includes including relevant optional subject, conducting workshops etc. I would say that the college serves the purpose well, provided you also want to study.

Fees & Scholarship

6 /10

  • Being a private university, the fees was at par with other private universities. The fees for 2009-13 batch was INR 50000 per year.
  • There are no scholarships provided by the university. ACPC, which is regulating admissions in Gujarat, provides fee waivers to eligible students.

Placements & Alumni Network

8 /10

  • Talking about the internships and final placements, the placement committee does put in serious efforts to get the batch (Computer and IT dept.) placed. The other departments do struggle. The placement committee for other departments are different. Roles vary from developer to support. But you don't end up unplaced after 4 years.
  • The average package was around Rs 2.7 LPA. Some companies offered upto Rs 4 LPA also.
  • The college is just 15 years old. So the alumni network is very strong there.

Infrastructure & Transportation
Know more
9 /10

  • For girls, hostel is in university campus. For boys, there are private hostels just outside the campus. In 2012, the fees was INR 45000 a year inclusive of food, wifi, cleaning etc.
  • Food in college is also affordable given that its in the outskirts of a village, nothing is costly there.
  • Infrastructure is top class. Labs, libraries and study room are equipped with round the clock internet and desktops for working.

Clubs & Associations
Know more
5 /10

  • There is one tech fest, cognizance, but it doesn't happen every year.
  • The cultural fest does happen but the events or clubs do not keep you occupied all the time (which I consider bad). You have to build your own network, take part in various competitions outside college to make the best of your extra-curricular.

I personally had taken part in bottle rocketry in which we have to make rocket working on the principle of water pressure.
