Class timings are from 8 am to 5 pm. The quality of teaching is good. Superb experience in college.

Fees & Scholarship

The course fee is INR 5 lacks per annum. Scholarships are provided on basis of percentile. Yes, loans are needed and provided quite easily from SBI.

A key company in IT sector are Microsoft, Google, Neutanics etc. The average salary in IT sector is  INR 22 lacks per annum. Around 90% students get placed. 

Infrastructure & Transportation

There are 6 hostels, four for boys and 2 for girls. Food is quite decent and costs INR 116 per day. Classrooms are well built, good labs, nice libraries.

Very nice society and clubs, the Main fest are Tech-ATMOS, CULTURE-PEARL, SPORTS-ARENA, VERBA MAXIMUS. The life in college is amazing.

Eligibility criteria were minimum 75% in class 12th and clearing of BITSAT (screening test). The cutoff was 287 marks out of 450 marks.

  • The eligibility criteria are the BITSAT entrance exam.
  • The exam is conducted online every year during the month of May and June.
  • The forms come out every December in order to sit for the exam.
  • The exam is easy but challenging in the sense that one has to attempt as many questions as possible. 
  • The typical cutoffs for admission procedure to any of the Campuses are to have 310 out of 480 marks to get into BITS Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process:

Eligibility Criteria includes a minimum of 75% in 12th Board with PCM aggregates. One also has to write BITSAT. College admissions are done on basis of BITSAT entrance exam. Cutoffs vary every year, during my admission cutoff was 284.


Worked in Rourkela Steel plant for 2 months as college offered Practice School.
