The admission procedure for B.E (ME) in Nandha Engineering College, [NEC] Erode is given below,

 MANAGEMENT SEAT ADMISSION PROCEDURE S.No. UG COURSES ELIGIBLITY 1 B.E - Electronics and Communication Engineering HSC (Academic) - Pass  with Minimum average in Maths, Physics and Chemistry General(OC)-50% BC&BCM-45% MBC&DNC-40% SC,SCA&ST-40% HSC (Vocational) - Pass any one of Maths, Physics and Chemistry with related Vocational theory and practical and Minimum average in General(OC)-50% BC&BCM-45% MBC&DNC-40% SC,SCA&ST-40% 2 B.E - Computer Science and Engineering 3 B.E - Electrical and Electronics  Engineering 4 B.E - Mechanical Engineering 5 B.E - Civil Engineering 6 B.E - Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering 7 B.Tech - Information Technology

Marks Calculation Details

Government Quota - Academic

(Maths / 2) + (Physics + Chemistry / 4) = Cuttoff

Example: (Maths – 175, Physics – 180 & Chemistry – 190)   (175 / 2) + (180+190 / 4) = (87.5 + 92.5)= 180

Government Quota - Vocational

(Maths / 2) + (Theory + Practical I + Practical II / 6)=   Cuttoff

Example: (Maths – 175, Theory – 190, Practical I – 200&Practical II – 200)  (175 /2) + (190+200+200 / 6) = (87.5 + 98.33) = 185.83

Management Quota Course Eligibility

(Maths + Physics + Chemistry) / 6 = Course Eligibility

Example: (Maths – 175, Physics – 180 & Chemistry – 190) (175 + 180 + 190)/6 = 90.83

Vocational

(Maths) + (Theory + Practical I + Practical II) / 8 =Course Eligibility

Example:(Maths – 175, Theory – 190, Practical I – 200 & Practical II – 200)  (175 + 190 + 200 + 200)/ 8 = 765/8 = 95.62
