What's the admission procedure for B.Com (Accounting and Finance) in St Xavier's College, [SXC] Kolkata?

Admission Qualification for B.Com.

Regulations :

A candidate may be admitted to the B.Com (Honours) course provided he/she has passed the Higher Secondary Examination (plus two course) conducted by West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination recognized as such by University of Calcutta, subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions :

1. A candidate applying for Honours must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate with 45% marks in each subject appeared at the previous qualifying examination.
    
2. For applying to B.Com, Maths / Business Maths / Business Eco with Maths* is compulsory in Plus-II level. (*Business Eco with Maths is a single paper applicable for W.Bengal - HS students only).
    

Choice of Modern Indian Language:
Hindi / Bengali / Alternative English. (Alternative English will be given only to students not having Hindi or Bengali at the Class-X level.)

Selection Procedure :
Selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 examination followed by interview.
