CU Scholarship for Outstanding Students

The main objective of this policy is to encourage good and brilliant students to acquire higher education at an affordable fee and be an active member of the society in general and their families in particular.

Scholarship Schemes for Engineering

(a)        Scholarship based on JEE (Mains)

Scholarship on the basis of All India Rank in JEE (Mains)

All India Rank (AIR)	Scholarship
Less than 50000	100% Semester fee
50001 to 75000	75% Semester fee
75001 to 100000	20% Semester fee
100001 to 125000	10% Semester fee

NOTE:-

• 5% of total seats in a Course shall be offered under the above scheme.

(b)          Scholarship based on marks in 10+2

%age of Marks	Scholarship Equivalent to
90% or More	50% Semester fee
85-89.99%	20% Semester fee
80-84.99%	10% Semester fee

NOTE:-

• Maximum 10% of total seats in a Course shall be offered under the above Schemes (a) and (b).
• The students admitted under the above schemes shall have to maintain a minimum of 75% (7.5 CGPA) marks, absolute discipline, without any supplementary/compartments failing which the incentives given shall stand withdrawn.

Government Aided Scholarships

The University offers up to 100% scholarship for the students belonging to SC/ST categories under the Government scheme.

Special scholarship scheme for students belonging to Jammu and Kashmir (2 students per institute admitted through AICTE Centralized counseling)

1. Students belongs to State of Jammu and Kashmir. 2. Pursuing general degree course, Engineering and medical studies. 3. Pursuing the course in institution located outside the state of J&K. 4. Who has passed the class XII or equivalent exam from the J&K Board or CBSE. 5. Income ceiling will be below Rs 6,00,000/-per annum. 6. Aadhar linked bank a/c details of the student 7. Photocopy of Aadhar card
