Courses (after 10+2):

Students having passed +2 may apply for any or as many courses of their choice indicated below provided they fulfill the eligibility requirements:

B.SC. (Co-educational)

  1. Physics Honours
  2. Chemistry Honours
  3. Mathematics Honours
  4. Statistics Honours
  5. Computer Science Honours
  6. Economics Honours
  7. Microbiology Honours
  8. Mass Communication and Videography

Cost of Application Forms:

  • Rs.1000/- for B.B.A., B.Sc. Mass Communication and Videography and M.Sc. Multimedia (Integrated)
  • Rs. 500/- for all other courses.

Dates of Online Applications

Dates of online applications : 10 May(12 Noon) to 4th June( 12 Noon)

Categories of Admissions

CATEGORY I: GENERAL, selected on merit.

CATEGORY II: Catholics, and other Christians.

CATEGORY III: SC, ST, economically challenged, physically challenged, outstanding sports persons, NCC Cadets and schools administered by the Calcutta Province of the Society of Jesus.

CATEGORY IV: Sons and daughters of College Alumni Association members with long standing record of service to College and society.

Students of all categories having the required eligibility will apply online through the website.

Eligibility Criteria

No candidate shall be eligible for admission after a lapse of more than three years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination. The year of admission will not be taken into account while calculating 3 years from the year of passing the previous qualifying examination.

For admission to all courses other than Bengali Honours, a student must have studied and passed in English in the +2 level. Admission of students failing in English or not having English will be cancelled.

Eligibility Criteria for Application: Compulsory Subject(s) in +2 level: English
  Aggregate calculation: English + Any 3
  Marks requirement for Application: 60% in Aggregate
Selection: On the basis of index calculated with the board marks in +2 level & Admission Test Marks
Index Calculation: AGG% + 2 x ADM% : (OUT OF 300)
