NTA JEE MAIN 2019
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by NTA from 2019 onwards which was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018. It is applicable for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating though Central Seat Allocation Board. It is subject to the criteria that the applicant should have obtained at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or the applicant has to be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates, the criteria would be 65% in the 12th class examination.
Eligibility for JEE MAIN 2019

NTA NEET 2019
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards which was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) till 2018. It is applicable for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges administered with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions authorized through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.
The responsibility of the NTA will be restricted to the conduct of the entrance examination, publication of result and presenting All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for the conduct of counseling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities.
NTA CMAT 2019
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination for admission into management programmes which was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) till 2018. It is a three-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to assess the student's capability across several sections like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness which helps Institutions to pick suitable graduate candidates for admission in all Management programs.
Eligibility for CMAT 2019
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam.
Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be announced before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2019-20 are also eligible to apply for the exam.
NTA GPAT 2019
GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT) is a national level entrance examination for admission into M.Pharm programmes which was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India till 2018. This exam helps institutions to choose suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Master's (M.Pharm) program. It is a three-hour online test which is conducted in a single session. The test score is admitted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. There are some scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy which are given on the basis of the GPAT score.
Eligibility for GPAT 2019
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
The applicant must be a Bachelor's degree holder in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates)
The exam can also be attended by those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course.
B.Tech (Pharmaceutical and fine chemical technology) or Equivalent Students does not possess the eligibility to attend the examination.
NTA NET 2018
The National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor both in Indian Universities and Colleges. Previously it was conducted by CBSE across 91 selected cities of the country which will be carried by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Eligibility for NET 2018
Students who have scored at least 55% marks in Master s Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this exam.
The Other Backward Classes(OBC), Scheduled Caste(SC), Scheduled Tribe(ST), persons with disability(PwD) category applicants who have scored at least 50% marks in Master's degree or equivalent examination also possess the eligibility.
Students who are pursuing their Master's degree or equivalent course or students who have appeared for the examination and waiting for the result or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed due to any reason are also eligible to apply for this test.
Candidates belonging to third gender in other words transgender are also eligible to draw the same relaxation in fee, age and qualifying criteria for NET (i.e. Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor) as are available to SC/ST/PwD categories.
The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master's level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) to attend NET.
Last November, the Union Cabinet approved the setting up of the National Testing Agency (NTA), an Indian Government agency, to conduct the entrance examinations for higher education. Thus, relieving the educational bodies from conducting examinations such as Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
NTA has now taken over the responsibility of the exams that were conducted by the CBSE previously and will soon take over the other examinations.
Aadhar not Mandatory
NTA issued a public notice when the registration for JEE Main 2019 and UGC NET 2018 began earlier this month that Aadhar Card will not be a mandatory document for the candidates to register for these entrance examinations.
Aadhar will only be one of the options for the candidates to choose from and will not be a mandatory document for registration purposes.
Applicants who do not have an Aadhar Card can use other options from the dropdown list.
Applicants can choose other government-issued IDs to fill up the registration form such as Passport Number, Voter Id, Ration Card, Bank Account, Driving License etc.
Exams - Twice a year
National Testing Agency decided to conduct the entrance examinations twice a year. It is not mandatory for the candidates to appear for both the times. Exams like NEET, JEE, and UGC NET will be conducted twice a year and the best of the scores would be considered.
NEET 2019 will be conducted by the NTA during February and May
UGC NET 2018 (July) has been successfully conducted and the following exam will be conducted in the month of December.
JEE Main 2019 will be conducted during January and April.
Choice of Dates
The examination will be conducted in the span of 4 to 5 days and the applications have the liberty to choose the dates according to their convenience.
Computer Based Test (Online Based Exams)
NTA has reformed the mode of the exams to online based. Candidates will now have to appear for the exam and answer the questions through the computer.
JEE Main 2019, UGC NET 2018, NEET 2019 are Computer Based Tests.
Every candidate will be provided with a computer and are required to enter the login details to proceed with the exam.
The candidates can make changes in their answers anytime during the examination which is not a privilege in offline exams (OMR Sheet).
For JEE Main 2019, Paper 1 (B. Tech/ B.E) is completed an online examination, and for Paper 2 (B. Arch/ B. Planning) the first two sections will be an online exam, and the third one would be a ‘pen and paper’ based.
A countdown timer will be running on the top right corner of the computer screen.
When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself.
Students need not worry about the time spent to rectify any of the technical glitches, such as power breakdown, computer freeze. There will be highly trained professionals to help out the candidates in case of these issues, and the time spent rectifying the glitches would be compensated.
NTA is the conducting authority for higher education entrance exams. Exams will be conducted twice a year; if the candidate decides to appear for both the exams the best score will be considered. Aadhar Card is not mandatory for UGC NET 2018, JEE Main 2019 registration purposes. Candidates can now choose the date of the examination and the examinations will be conducted online (Computer Based Test)
