University of Mumbai rescheduled the Law Exam

The Law exam of the University of Mumbai got rescheduled for the second time. Two of its papers got postponed to January to avoid a clash with CS (Company Secretary) exams.

The University of Mumbai had initially changed the timetable because of the delay in declaring the re-evaluation results. According to sources from university, the new schedule got announced after the Members of Students Law Council staged a demonstration at the Kalina campus on Thursday morning. Students of the University of Mumbai criticized the new timetable saying that it has affected their year-ending plans.

What did the students feel about rescheduling the exams?

A student of Pravin Gandhi College of Law said that they had enrolled for skiing course from December 24 to January 6 in Gulmarg but now the plan needs to be changed.

A fourth-year student Veer Kankaria said law students appearing for CS exams are not facing trouble as MU rules prohibit students from doing two full-time professional courses simultaneously. The rules say that students cannot take internship or work along with studies while for students of CS they have to do articleship as a part of the curriculum.

Labdhi Parekh, a student of MU said initially the exams were scheduled to get over by 19th December but now it will end in January affecting her all other plans.
