About the Exam
TISSNET is an entrance exam for the candidates who want to take admission in MA Programs offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Furthermore, the question paper consists of 100 objective-type questions. The questions are related to General Aptitude, Mathematics, Reasoning, Verbal Proficiency, and General Awareness.
Candidates who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in the further assessment process. The assessment includes an extempore and a personal interview. This will be conducted from 25 April to 25 May. After that, the authorities will release the final merit list based on the candidate’s performance in the assessment rounds.
Moreover, candidates must know the weightage of each of the exam components. The written exam carries 50% weightage, whereas the extempore carries 20% weightage. Finally, the Personal Interview carries 30% weightage.
