Social Activist Mr. Adtiya Tiwari addressed the KSOM students on 11th Jan 2020 on behalf of the Rights of children with disabilities. Mr. Aditya Tiwari, a single parent who adopted a kid with Down Syndrome had a big struggle because of the legal issues that does not permit a male single parent in India to adopt at the age of 28. With dire efforts, he finally succeeded in getting the Law of Adoption amended.
Mr. Aditya worked for spreading awareness on child adoption, mental health, training parents with children of Special Needs, awareness on HIV/ AIDS with an aim to provide high-quality care and total support to socially marginalized children.
The Social Activist is associated with parents across the globe by providing them assistance in understanding and parenting the students affected with disability, and also the employment opportunities with special needs adults.
