PSIT Kanpur finds itself in the top 100 Engineering Colleges in India in the Times Engineering Survey. Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology has gained 39th rank among the top 100 Engineering Colleges in India. The survey agency Market Excel Data Matrix has carried out this survey. The previous year, PSIT was at the 48th position and at 54th place the year before that.
It is a notable fact that PSIT is the only Institution which has reached such great heights and is gaining more success each year although it was established only in 2004.
The Institution is also in the 28th position in the list of best Private Colleges in India. Ranked 1st among the technical institutes in Uttar Pradesh (Minor NCR), 8th position in North India for best engineering colleges.
Pranvir Singh, Chairman of the Institute said that PSIT has gained the 39th rank among the 6000 technical institutes which includes IITs, private and government engineering colleges. The Institution also ranked 1st in the whole of Uttar Pradesh Minor NCR region. According to the Chairman’s words, the survey is transparent as various aspects of an institution are studied. Faculty, Infrastructure, Placement, Industry Interface, Global Exposure, and other aspects are included in the study. He shared that the goal of getting global exposure to the Institution is reached. Now, they aim to take it to the list of top 10 Institutions in the country.
AKTU has awarded an Excellence Award to the Institute for Academic facility, Infrastructure, and Placements for two consecutive years in the past.
The Institute has been appointed as a Campus Connect Partner by Infosys. Students who wish to set up their own business will be given additional support by the Institution which will be providing better facilities for them than the current year. Apart from this, for a period of 6 months after Graduation, the Institute allows eligible Faculty to guide the students. The Corporate Relations team is dedicated to establish better relations with the industry to aid better employment opportunities. It is noteworthy that the Institute is also affiliated with some Fortune 500 companies.
