Candidates’ performance in the JEE Advanced exam will determine their selection to the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT.) The last day for fee submission and registration for JEE Advanced is 12 August. Meanwhile, the issuance of admit cards will take place on 23 August.
Candidates will now compete for 16,232 seats instead of 13,000 seats in 2019. Furthermore, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) has decided to lend one-time relaxation to recent pass-outs of class 12. Authorities took this step owing to the COVID 19 pandemic. This means those who had appeared for JEE Advanced in 2020 or 2021 are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2022. On the other hand, those who had never appeared for JEE Advanced 2020 or 2021 are also eligible. Furthermore, authorities made concessions in Board eligibility in the last two years. Only top 20 percentile holders in Boards were considered eligible to appear for the JEE exam.
