Odisha Civil Services (OCS) 2021 Prelim Exam Date Released @opsc.gov.in

OCS 2021: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the exam date for the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2021 for recruitment to Group A and B services. Finally, OPSC will conduct the OCS 2021 exam on 16 August 2022. Candidates can check the exam notification on the official website, i.e., www.opsc.gov.in. 

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has presently notified a total of 405 vacancies for recruitment through the Odisha civil service exam 2021. The OPSC OCS exam 2021 will consist of a Preliminary exam (objective type-multiple-choice questions), the Main exam, and a Personality Test/Interview.

OCS 2021 Vacancy Details

Below mentioned are the total vacancies for different posts –

1. Odisha Administrative Service: 50
2. Police Service Odisha: 6
3. Finance Service Odisha: 97
4. Co-operative Service Odisha: 2
5. Revenue Service Odisha: 40
6. Labour Service Odisha: 150
7. Welfare Service Odisha: 42
8. Employment Service Odisha: 10
9. Taxation and Accounts Service Odisha: 8

Previously, Odisha Public Service Commission was supposed to conduct the Prelims exam on 23 May 2021. However, it was postponed due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in the country. Candidates who qualify for the OCS 2021 Prelims exam will be eligible for the Mains exam. Finally, authorities will call the selected candidates from the Mains exam for Personality Test/Interview Round.

The Mains exam shall comprise 5 papers. Lastly, a Board to be constituted by Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will interview the candidate. At the same time, the interview will be a final round for selecting eligible candidates for Group A and Group B posts and shall carry 250 marks.
