NIMS ranked 1 by CEGR and AICTE

The NIMS University was awarded the position of the best private university of 2017. The award is presented jointly by Centre Education Growth and Research (CEGR) and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) IVth National Seminar on Higher Education at New Delhi on 18th April 2017.

The Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR) is an independent think tank that contributed to qualitative, innovative and employability-enhancing education, preparing the next generation as future leaders. The Centre provides an opportunity for the exchange of dialogue among Academicians, Corporate, media and policy makers and augments educational growth and research. The Centre realizes the importance of citizens' involvement in education and is committed to bring inclusive development in society.

The AICTE functions under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development. AICTE coordinates and cooperates technical education and management education system in India and is assisted by 10 statutory bodies in doing so.

Mittal (Member Secretary, AICTE), Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna and Director (AICTE and President, CEGR). First book was launched for Higher Education Faculty Career Orientation and Advancement edited by Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna and Director (AICTE and President, CEGR) during the event.
