NIFT Counseling 2022 – Fee Payment Window for Spot Round Re-Opened

NIFT Counseling 2022: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has notified the candidates about re-opening the portal to pay the acceptance fee. The portal is open from 4th August till 7th August (12:00 Noon). However, The Institute released seat allotment results for the spot round on 30th July.

On 4th August, NIFT notified about the re-opening of the payments portal.

The counseling process for NIFT 2022 is ongoing in online mode as a seat allocation process for 17 participating NIFTs. Therefore, A total of six regular seat allotment rounds followed by the spot round have been conducted.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology has notified candidates with confirm seats in NIFT 2022 counselling rounds to get in touch firstly with the campuses to get updates on reporting timelines and formalities, including orientation.

The seat allotment process for NIFT 2022 is on the following factors:

• The NIFT 2022 merit rank of the candidate
• Secondly, The academic program and campuses selected at the time of counseling registration, and their order of priority

NIFT Counselling 2022: Seat Matrix

The 17 participating institutes of NIFT Counselling 2022 offer a combined seat intake of 5, 023 seats, including 4, 565 seats for Indian nationals and 458 seats for foreign nationals.

Among the 4,565 seats reserved for Indian nationals, 4188 are All-India seats and 377 are state domicile seats.
