NExT Exam Date 2023: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has instructed the Medical Colleges to send the MBBS course completion date in order to schedule the NExT 2023 exam date. The NExT 2023 theory exam will be held in the second week of December 2023, while the practical exam will be conducted in the second week of March 2024.

The NMC in a letter to the Director of Medical Education of all states stated that “The National Exit Test (NExt) regulations are likely to be finalized shortly and would be placed before the NMC in the next meeting to be scheduled in June 2023.” The NMC has asked all the DMEs to inform the MBBS course completion dates in order to announce the NExT exam date 2023.

According to the draft regulation of NExT which was released by NMC in Dec 2022, the NExT exam will replace the NEET PG examinations 2023. As per the NExT exam regulations 2023 released, the NExT 2023 exam will be held in Theory and Practicals formats and the NExt exam date 2023 is awaited.
