The National Board of Education released the results for NEET MDS 2018 on January 25, 2018.
NEET MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various Post Graduate MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948. NEET MDS is a single-window entrance examination for Dental PG courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, is valid for entry to MDS Courses as per the Dentists Act, 1948.
This year the exam was conducted on January 7, 2018. The result has been released on the official results website for NBE. This year the exams were conducted for 960 marks as opposed to last year when the exam was conducted for 1200. The cut off consequently is lesser than last year. For General category students the cut-off is 233 and for physically handicapped students cut-off is 219. The cut off for SC/ST/OBC/SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH is 204.
Candidates can check the official website for the scorecard, rank list, merit list, and cut-offs. Rank is awarded only to those candidates who qualify by getting marks equal to or more than cut off and only qualified candidates can participate in counselling for NEET-MDS at all-India, as well as state levels.
