MP Board Exam 2023: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has announced that the candidates whose schools did not fill out the registration forms for the MP Board Exam 2023 for class 10 and 12 will not be stopped from writing the exams. Recently, it was revealed that around 11 private and government schools had not registered their students for the board exams. Although these schools have remitted some students' examination forms and fees, 582 students have been left out. Following a meeting, Shrikant Banoth, secretary of the MP board, said that strict action would be taken against the school operators and principals for negligence.
The MP Board Exam 2023 class 10 and 12 examination fees were INR 900 per candidate. Although the last day to pay the fees was Sep 30, it was extended for a few days, wherein students could have been registered with an additional late fee of INR 100. The late fee was then increased to INR 2000, and students were to be registered before Nov 20.
However, many government and private schools still needed to collect the fees of the students. Among these schools, 11 are situated in Bhopal itself. Under these circumstances, the MPBSE ordered each student to be charged INR 5729. As a result, the amount the schools had to pay came to a total of 11 crores. To pay the fees, some schools had to collect donations. As of now, 582 students are yet to pay the fees. The schools are now required to pay INR 35 Lac to the board. Teachers from many schools have donated INR 10,000.
