ECE students shine in IIT Bombay

School of Electronics and Communication Engineering of IIT Bombay organised a national level Robotics Idea Competition on the 7th and 8th of April. The project that REVA University entered in the competition was titled "Sewage Cleaning Robot with the help of Pneumatic system". The projects involved a portable robot that can be installed in manholes and automatically cleans and retrieves blockages at the push of a button. The robot served the purpose of protecting human dignity by replacing robots for human cleaners in sewage systems as it a hazardous occupation. The height and reach of the robot can be altered as per needs.

The team proudly expresses gratitude

 The team members included Suraj N., Santhosh Reddy and Vinay Kumar P from Mechanical Engineering mentored by Dr. Jagadeeswaran N, Associate Professor of School of Mechanical Engineering.

The team lead thanked Dr. P. ShyamarajuSir, Chancellor, REVA University for providing for adequate facilitates for the students to carryout the work in Robotics and Automation Lab and win the award. The team lead also thanked Dr. S.Y. Kulkarni, Vice-Chancellor; Dr. M. Dhanamjaya, Registrar; Dr. Sunilkumar S. Manvi, Principal REVA ITM & Director School of Computing and Information Technology, for their continuous support and encouragement.
