DU to Launch UG Admissions Portal Today – Admissions Based on CUET Scores
DU Admissions 2022 is starting today, with the launch of Common Seat Allocation System . Check more details on the three phases of DU Admissions.
DU Admissions 2022: According to an official notification, DU is beginning its admission process for UG courses by launching a Common Seat Allocation System. The CUET exams got over earlier on Tuesday. Moreover, DU Admissions 2022 will be based on candidates’ CUET scores this year.
Previously, all CUET UG exams were going to end on August 20. However, due to the delay in the release of CUET scores, there has been a late start to admissions. The CSAS portal was earlier going to launch in the last week of August.
Further, the DU admissions will take place in three parts, i.e.,
- Submission of CSAS 2022 Application Form
- Selection of Programs and Preference Filling
- Seat Allocation and DU Admissions 2022 Process
The University will ask for the CUET score in the second phase of the process, which will be accessible to the students soon. Then, the candidates must choose the program they want to enrol in. The CUET score cut-off will be different for each course. Hence students must confirm their scores with the required CUET cut-off for each program. Lastly, Delhi University will publish a merit list through which seat allocations will be made.
Besides, DU had already notified students that the admission process would soon begin through the CSAS platform and must be ready with their documents by August 31. However, UGC will only grant admissions to students with valid CUET scores since that is the critical requirement for DU Admissions 2022.

Additional Information
Incidentally, the CUET debut was quite bumpy, as students faced technical glitches and changes in exam centres and dates. A lot of them had past test dates mentioned on their hall tickets. Although, CUET now stands among the top 2 entrance exams in India after NEET. This year the authorities recorded 14.9 lakh registrations for CUET. Remarkably, the CUET exam overshadowed the JEE exams in 2022.
